Ramush Haradinaj's resignation from the prime ministerial post has gathered all Serbian leaders during today.
Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq, shortly after Haradinaj's resignation, has met with Serbian member of the Bosnian Presidency, Milorad Dodik, Serbian Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin, Defence Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic, the director of the so-called Office for Kosovo in Serbia's Government, Marko Djuric, as well as with Presidency Secretary General Nikola Sakkovovic, broadcast news.
After this meeting, Vuciq was not declared at all for media, but it was the office for communication with the public of the Serbian Presidency, which has announced that by the beginning of 10:00 tomorrow, Vuciq is expected to address citizens about Haradinaj's resignation from the prime minister's post.
As “Tanjug writes.rs”, Vuciq is expected tomorrow to react to Haradinaj's resignation and possible implications of his resignation, broadcast the news further.net.
It should be stressed that Ramush Haradinaj has resigned from the prime minister's post during the day after receiving an invitation from the Special Court in the quality of the suspect.
Haradinaj's letter of resignation is expected to hand over President Hashim Thaci during Monday.
Meanwhile, after his resignation, there have been numerous reactions from both the ruling and opposition parties.
The latter, and some ruling parties, have demanded that the country go to extraordinary elections and no technical government be established.
Under the Kosovo Constitution, following the prime minister's resignation, the entire government falls.
But, basically, after the prime minister's resignation, the president initially makes consultations with political parties or the coalition that has won the majority in the Parliament, for mandated the new candidate, to form the new government.
After these consultations, the president appoints the mandate for forming the government, following the political or coalition party proposal, which makes up the majority of the Assembly.
The new candidate for prime minister, not later than 15 days after the appointment, presents the composition of the new government before the Kosovo Assembly and requires approval by the Parliament.
The government is considered elected if it receives the majority of votes of all Kosovo Assembly deputies.
If that proposed government composition does not get the most necessary votes, the president within ten days appoints the other candidate under the same procedure.
If not the second time the government is elected, then the president announces the elections that should be held no later than 40 days from the day of their proclamation.
