Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj says the Serbian state is responsible for why, even after 20 years, the case of killing the Bytyqi brothers is not becoming white.
Haradinaj says their sacrifice for freedom is without example and that Serbia is responsible why perpetrators of crime have not been punished until today.
Government leader has said Kosovo will continue to seek justice in the case of their murder.
“In the 20th anniversary of the murder of the brothers Bytyqi, Agron, Star and Mehmet, we remember their unprecedented sacrifice for freedom of Homeland. They came from the United States to join this Earth's line of defenders and the essence of their fall reveals the true dimension of our liberation war. Their execution without trial and lack of justice still holds the Serbian state guilty today of impunity. Bowing to the climactic work of three Kosovo Heroes, the country's government vows it will not stop operating for the establishment of justice.”, Haradinaj said through a post on the social Facebook network.
Justice for the Bytyqi brothers has also sought out American Congressman Elliot Engel, who spent a visit to Belgrade a few days ago. Engel has asked Serbia's president, Alexander Vuciq, at the meeting.
