With Minister Caster for French Support for Free Movement and Signing of the Agreement for specialised Police Co-operation!
At a meeting with French Interior Minister Christophe Castaner, I requested France's support in the visa liberalisation process as an extremely important step for the country. In that spirit, we also signed the letter of good purpose to combat organized crime, terrorism, and illegal migration.
I stressed that Kosovo is a serious party to partnership and that with free movement, European countries gain more opportunities. Minister Castaner also announced the arrivals in our country, the Government's commitment to strengthening the rule and law, fighting terrorism, and Kosovo's intention to integrate into the EU and NATO.
I thanked Minister Castaner for the continued assistance France has given our country in all periods of statehood and consolidation of democratic institutions, and at this important phase of the country's international consolidation, the friendly state partnership continues to be needed.
Kosovo meets conditions and France is the main partner towards the final response for free movement.
