After this was made known by other companies, Google admitted that it gives workers access to some audio recordings of Android phones and “Google Home”
The technology giant has said that this recording is done to improve the voice activated by Google assist, in a word to see what's missing.
The problem, however, is that some recordings have been accepted even when users have not been activated or used words that are activated them as: “Hey google” or “These recordings include family and private discussions.
Google said they are currently doing a review and said it will make sure no audio is made public in the future.
