Most of them have expressed concern that even though they have paid the fine their name has figured in the police system, this is because they have not sent the payment card to the police system.
In this regard, Telegrafi has requested a clarification by Kosovo Police, to get more clear drivers what procedures should be followed if they receive any fines.
In response given by the Office for Information and Public Relations, the General Directorate of Pristina Police is described in detail as to how drivers should act.
The contractor in traffic is informed by the police officer who pronounces the fine, the country, the way of payment, the payment deadline, and other issues related to paying fines, the same information should be listed in the case for countering road traffic.
The person who did an offense in road traffic (back in texting against the offender), if he pays the fine in the 15-day term, pays only half (50%) of the previous amount for that violation, not including negative scores and safeguard clause”, the Kosovo Police response is said.
Police clarify citizens that, after the deadline has passed and in the event of refusing/ancae by competent bodies, the fine is paid full.
The explanation is said that, after the fine is paid, the bill of testimony is sent to the police station, which has written the offense in order to clear the fine of the system.
All payment papers for paid fines must be handed over to the nearest police station (not necessarily in the place where the fine is prescribed) following the payment of the fines, so that this can be recorded in the” system.
To get rid of the police system, all payment papers for paid fines and tickets, scanned, can also be sent to the electronic address: info@kosovo police.com.
“As part of the connection of traffic payment systems between the police and authorised institutions that perform these services, with the identity checks in the system is becoming automatic/online, where so far such a system is functioning and there is no need for counters to bring evidence to the police.
We remind you that, in a continuous and timely manner, counter-evasors have been informed of the process from the initiating of counter-information (announcement of fines) to their editing in the police system and other procedures according to the competencies and authorisations of the relevant institutions. Also, for any eventual confusion or error we have offered the service while not reluctant to appear even at the nearest police station to get the necessary clarification”, it is said in Kosovo Police clarification.
The police system is also linked to the vehicle registration center, where they have online access to the status of the offense, which includes their payment/editation.
