More than eight million people die each year because of tobacco use. In the meantime, seven million of these deaths are caused by direct use of tobacco, while 1.2 million are people who do not use tobacco but die because they are passive users.
Smoking, which negatively affects human life in many ways, stands alone as a major cause of death in the world.
According to data from the World Health Organization (OBSH), almost half of smokers die from reasons for their addiction.
O BSH draws attention that each year about 650,000 children worldwide lose their lives from respiratory concerns as a result of family smoking and facing passive drinking.
