Thus, competition has been opened among five other cities.
Amsterdam Mayor Femke Halsema declared that the Dutch capital will not organise the event because the arena “Ziggo Dome”, where the festival was scheduled to take place, is booked and cannot be released even eight weeks before Eurovision.
The cities that will compete for Eurovision are Rotterdam, USecht, Den Bosch, Arnhem and Maastricht.
The winner will be announced in August. Bringing back to attention that the Netherlands came first at Eurovision 2019, under the representation of singer Duncan Laurence.
