These demands are increasingly strong in several counties in Brussels, though Serbia during the past decade -- legally, politically and morally -- does everything to condemn this and all other war crimes.
“Novosti” writes that the Serbian parliament adopted a resolution on the sentence of crimes in Srebrenica in March 2010, while former President Boris Tadic publicly apologised for “one of the most tragic chapters of the Yugoslav civil war of 1990” and on July 11th 2015.
However, European Commissioner for Enlargement Johannes Hahn warned on Monday that “has no place for the EU for those who deny genocide and all other judgments by international courts”.
The request for Serbia to recognise the genocide in Potocari is included in the European Parliament's latest report on Serbia, and it is clear that this topic is appropriate for the policy of “moving targets”, Kosovo Press broadcasts.
European Movement Secretary General for Serbia Suzana Grubjesic believes Serbia's official attitude towards genocide in Srebrenica is not contradictory and that this issue should not be used as another setback on the road to the EU.
There is no silence, no denial of proven facts about Potocari. None of our officials deny that crime has occurred, “she said.
