In an exclusive document provided by Periscopi, the president has demanded that with the approval of this Resolution Albanians in the Presevo Valley become part of the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
It also requires that the issue of Albanians in the Presevo Valley be raised at every international forum attended by representatives of Kosovo institutions.
The resolution even requires Kosovo and Albanian institutions to co-operate in drafting a joint platform for Albanians in the Presevo Valley.
At the point 1 of this resolution, Kosovo institutions are said to be obliged to respect the political will of the Presevo Valley Albanians for joining Kosovo, expressed in the 1992 Referendum, as well as the Civil Liberation Army for Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanoc.
In this resolution, it is now said that Albanians' demands from the Presevo Valley for the determination themselves are legitimate requirements, in accordance with international law, are requirements concerning historical and political rights, as well as the rights of a population that wants to live free as all the peoples of Europe.
In turn, the 3rd point of this resolution stresses that Albanians' demands from the Presevo Valley are requirements that help the region's long-term stability and contribute to the establishment of long-term peace in the region and the opening of a new chapter in relations between Kosovo and Serbia.
There, Resolution Point 4 requires that these demands by the Presevo Valley Albanians should be supported by all Kosovo bodies and institutions, without any political distinction.
On the other hand, currently in the Kosovo Assembly, MPs are discussing the rights of Albanians in the Presevo Valley at an extraordinary session.
