Kosovo bishop My Lord Dode Gjergji said in his speech that the Albanian people will give many Gods, 300 years of captivity under the Roman Empire, 500 years of captivity under the Ottoman Empire and 100 years of captivity under the Yugoslav Kingdom.
At the maturity ceremony, Dodo Gjergji said that we solemnly wish to display our dignity for what we have done and at the same time thank all those who have contributed to the construction of this church”.
But if we overcome our human being, then we as believers should say that we are performing an act of sanctification, that conforms to the religion of those who believe and with God coming our meeting. And when our religion in God's eyes the effort creates a strong spark of religion, hope, and love”, he said.
Kosovo's bishop also stressed the sacrifice of the Albanian people he has made over the centuries, under the Roman Empire, that Ottoman and then Yugoslav.
We have what we owe God as a people. We as a people can cost God 300 years of blood, martyrs, suffering, persecutions of the Roman Empire. We owe God 500 years of suffering, sacrifice, blood, persecution of the Ottoman Empire. We owe God 100 years of suffering, sacrifice, martyrdom of the Serbian Kingdom, or Croatian and Slovenian, and later all of Yugoslavia. But we also have our error, our sin, and our vows, which we owe unto the LORD. Because if we did not dedicate all the sacrifice of the people to God, we cannot ask him for help, support, support for our future”, he said.
Dode Gjergji said that the greatest injustice mankind has ever been able to commit was the sending of Christ to a trial of sin and its execution.
Right can really be unfair, but justice is always what pays, brings peace, brings treatment. How justice is unfair has been proved by the prime minister. But how right is better than justice, Christ has proved it”, Don George said.
