Two customs officials from the Tabanoci border crossing have been deprived of freedom, while corresponding remarks will be presented to them. They're suspected of taking bribes.
On July 28, 2019, at 3: 00 a.m., the injured person reportedly bribed the customs officers at the VK Tabanoc, at the entrance of the Republic of Northern Macedonia, after which the Department for Economic Crimes acted immediately, and after the personal raid of customs officers, Mr.J. From the village of Otle and T.M. From Kumanovo, as well as during the search of official facilities of the Customs Directorate in Tabano, 1670 euros and 190 Swiss francs have been found. Customsmen are deprived of freedom”, said among other things in the MPB's statement.
