An American jury found that singer Katy Perry's hit, “Dark Horse” of 2013, was a copy of a song from 2009.
The decision was made by the federal court in Los Angeles five years after Markus Grey and the other two co-authors filed charges claiming that “Dark Horse” was stolen from “Joyful Noise”, which Grey launched under the artistic name Flame, broadcasts Kosova Prees.
The jury will now decide the fine that Perry will pay for copyright violations.
