So has the American ambassador to Kosovo, Philip Costnet.
“Watching closely how Kosovo is facing a prime minister's resignation for the first time. How this issue will be addressed will show the power of Kosovo institutions and the willingness of officials to adhere to the Constitution and laws”, he wrote on Twitter.
Haradinaj resigned last week to respond to an invitation for an interview by the Special Court in The Hague, saying he wants to go as a citizen rather than to the prime minister's quality.
