Milan's former coach leaves “Unbroken Lions”, following disappointing results at the Africa Cup of Nations, where they were eliminated at 1/8 of the final and failed to defend the title won in 2017.
The 43-year-old Dutchman, who took over the position of Cameroon coach in August last year, leaves with his assistant and former national team co-player Patrick Cloivert.
After consulting with the Federation Executive Committee and the Ministry of Sports and Education, following the early elimination of Cameroon from the World Cup of Africa 2019, the Federation of Cameroon has decided to have to finish before long the contracts of coach Clara Clyde Seeddorf and his assistant Patrick Stephan Clujvert, with immediate effect of”, it is said in a statement issued by the Federation.

During his career as a coach, which began in 2014, Seedorf led Milan, Shenzen FC, and Deportivo La Coruna before becoming Cameroon's coach.
