Studies suggest that consumption of blueberries daily reduces the risk of developing heart disease.
Scientists found in weight adults, which consumed 150 grams of fruit daily, increased blood flow and less solid arteries.
Researchers calculated that this would reduce the risk of heart disease, the world's leading killer, from 12 to 15 percent.
Scientists at the University of East England tested the effects of cranberries eating daily on 138 overweight adults.
They were all 50-75 and had metabolic syndrome, the medical term for a combination of diabetes, high blood pressure and obesity.
