Amash leaves the party, cheers Trump: One of the most ignorant and disloyal people in Congress went.

Justin Amash, the only Republican lawmaker who requested the launch of the procedure for the dismissal of President Donald Trump, left the party on Thursday, just on the day of the country's independence. The 39-year-old with a five-year term as Michigan state lawmaker told the daily “Washington Post” that the two-party political system is broken due to “Modern policies stuck in the spiral of conflicting death between Democrats and Republican opponents”.
Lawmaker Amash prompted the ire of President Trump and his Republican colleagues in Congress when he recently called for the launch of the procedure for the dismissal of Mr. Trump, given allegations that he prevented justice in an effort to prevent Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian intervention in the 2016 presidential elections.
The departure makes him the only independent lawmaker in the House of Representatives.
In a post in Twether, President Trump commented on the removal of lawmakers Amash from the Republican Party.
“Wonderful news for the party as one of the most ignorant and disloyal people in Congress is leaving the party”, president Trump wrote on his Twitter account.
“There was no secret cooperation or obstruction of justice. He knew he could not run again for Michigan's great state. It's completely failed.”, completes his post, Mr. Trump.
In the newspaper article, lawmaker Amash writes about what he calls “The consequences of attitudes among the political class, that loyalty to the party is more important than serving the American people or protecting the ruling institutions”.
He concludes by saying that most Americans are not firmly positioned in party accounts and that they do not feel represented by either of the major parties.
“Today I am declaring my independence by leaving the Republican Party. In whatever circumstances you are, I invite you to join me in refusing to be loyal to the party and the rhetoric that separate us and eliminate humanity. I ask you to believe that we can work better than the two-party system. If they keep taking America easy, we'll lose it.”, Mr. Amish wrote.
At least 80 of the 235 Democrats in the House of Representatives have called for launching the procedure for the dismissal of President Trump. But House of Representatives head Nancy Pelosi has not supported these calls.
Mr. Mueller's report said that President Trump did not plot with Russia to win the elections, but the Special Prosecutor did not conclude if, as president, Mr. Trump prevented justice or not.
On July 17th, Robert Mueller is expected to testify about his 22-month investigation before two House of Representatives commissions.
