Following yesterday's meeting, where CEC members discussed opening boxes on June 30th, it is taught that the head of the institution has been given serious life threats not only on his person but also on family members.
Because of these threats, the Republican Guard has taken the CEC chairman to defence, making a high number of effective workers available who stay in his office.
The same procedure has been made for Zgur's family, who are guarded by law enforcement forces.
We recall that Clement Zguri, elected chairman of the CEC after the May 2017 agreement between Rama and Basha, has been the only member of the highest electoral institution, which has voiced itself against holding elections on June 30th, in argument that the president's decree has made the date impossible.
