Albania is disappearing: By 2100 it is expected to have fewer than 1 million inhabitants

Albania is the country that will have the largest population contraction in the world by the end of the century. The shocking prediction comes from the United Nations organization in the final projection of the world's population.

According to the UN's basic projection, by the end of this century Albania's population will be wrinkled to only 1 million people, with a decline of 62 percent compared to the current figure.
