Over 80 immigrants from Tunisia allegedly drowned at sea

The UN refugee agency, U n The NHCR said in a statement that it fears that 80 people have lost life at sea from shipwreck, Reuters reports.
Fishermen from Tunisia have saved four people, but one later died in the hospital, the UNHCR statement said.
“Status Quo cannot continue” said Vincent Cochetel, special envoy of U n NHCR for the Mediterranean Sea.
No one endangers his and his family's lives on these destroyed ships and takes long voyages. And it's just that people are looking for options” he said.
One of the four survivors said that Thursday the ship had left the town of Zarzis.
During May, another group of 65 immigrants from Libya had been immersed in the sea and had lost their lives.
