Kosovo Parliament Speaker Kadri Veselini has today met representatives of society organisations who have discussed his initiative to establish the commission to clear war veterans' lists.
Through a status on his Facebook page, Chief Parliamentate Wessel has announced that he has invited the civil society to support this initiative and work together to maintain the honour of soldiers of freedom and the state of Kosovo.
“Civil society is one of the important pillars of our state for building a real democracy, and for facing the challenges we face. Today, I met representatives of several of the organisations and presented my initiative before them to establish an hetimor Commission for the Kosovo Liberation Army veterans' lists. This is a mission we have to work together on to maintain the honour of the soldiers of freedom and the state of Kosovo”, Veselin wrote.
