Pristina Mayor Shpend Ahmeti has announced that today the Comunal Parliament approved 35 votes for the establishment of the Central Kitchen Community Company.
He has also announced that the kitchen will offer food for private nests, prepare food for popular cuisines in Komuna, and will in the future extend to Pristina schools.
“Today the Municipal Assembly approved 35 votes for the establishment of the Central Kitchen Municipal Company.
Kitchen workers who for more than 20 years have supplied Pristina public nests were privatised as service eight years ago because with legislation they could not continue as a civil servant.
We invested in the building and new equipment, we turned the kitchen into the public sector, and now with the new number of nests this new company will provide food for our children and safety for the kitchen workers.
The kitchen will also offer food for private nests, prepare the food for popular cuisines in Komuna, and in the future extend to Pristina schools.
I personally thank all the assemblyists who voted for this” initiative, Ahmeti wrote on Facebook.
