Serbia continues to lobby against Kosovo membership for Interpol

The Serbian state seems to have launched a rally against Kosovo for membership in Interpol, broadcasting Indexline.

Interior Ministry State Secretary Biljana Popovic was in Azerbaijan today and conveyed Serbia's arguments against Kosovo's request for membership in Interpol.

She told Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs that Kosovo's accession to Interpol would represent a serious precedent and that it would create problems for all countries.

Such lobbiing had become the last time Kosovo had attempted membership.
