This is about one fifth of all deaths worldwide, and 10 out of 11 million deaths associated with poor quality diet are the result of cardiovascular disease.
According to American scientists from Washington University, poor quality diet worries more than smoking. One particular problem is taking high - salt foods responsible for some 3 million premature deaths a year.
In addition, experts stress the insufficient contribution of consumption of cereals, vegetables and trees.
