A Russian fighter plane has cut off an American plane as it flew into international airspace over the Mediterranean Sea. This happened three times during yesterday, according to the Sixth American Fleet.
June 4th, 2019, Bayram Day, P-8A American Poseidon was flying into international airspace over the Mediterranean Sea when the route from a Russian SU-35 plane was cut off three times for 175 minutes,” said in a statement the Sixth Fleet, writes Periscope.
The second cut from three more “was defined as uncertain” because the Russian plane “was flying too fast in front of the American plane” and had put the lives of pilots at risk.
American planes were adhering to international standards and “did not provoke this Russian activity”, further the statement continues. /Periscope
