German journalist Peter Tiede, the person who published the BILD surveillance bomb, has reacted to the major scandal involving the mayor of Durres once again with the Avdylaj criminal group.
Tiede says his impression is simple, that Albania's mafia government.
The journalist even shows a conversation with an Albanian investigator, who has told him the fight against the drug mafia is lost in Albania.
Because the government in Albania so flatly denies that the mafia buys votes -- some wiretapping to be heard -- received by police. Locked up this day.
The drug bar, showing up here, was arrested for heroin trafficking- and released again- after being depressed in prison and received a certificate as requested. The greats want to be free in Albania- they pay well and secure votes. The only question is: Does the mafia manipulate politics or govern the country?
My impression: It governs the country.
An investigator told me: We lost the war, the drug mafia took over our country.
Because some policemen and prosecutors do not want to surrender because they want to act against the corrupt police leadership, we managed to secure the material.
My thanks to courageous investigators and intelligent journalists in Albania who are not giving up,” writes journalism.
