Kelmendi said the recent clashes in the LDK sub-region elections may have occurred because of fears the other subjects have against the LDK.
“Polls are drawing out the LDK as the first party in Kosovo, and that could spur jealousy in other parties, and as it has been seen in these clashes there have been other party members”, he told RTV Dukagini.
LDK MP says these triggers of clashes could be made to undermine the image of this party.
Kelmendi says he himself has not been locked in the election race within the LDK to preserve his personal image.
He says he is not involved in any grouping within the LDK, but supports the decision of headship.
Due to the sensitive situation that exists in Kosovo and in relation to Serbia and many sensitive issues, Kelmendi says he would also support a mandate at the helm of LDK to be Isa Mustafa.
I don't know any other candidates who may be in the race, but I will support anyone who brings a good future for LDK... I'm a unifyer and my line up for any unnamed candidates would take me out of my unified positions”, Ramiz Kelmendi said among other things.
