Prosecutor Judgeing Limaj in The Hague Becomes Special Investigation Chief

Alex Whiting, who from 2002-2007 worked at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia and served as chief prosecutor in the trial of Fatmir Limaj, Isak Musliu and Haradin Balaj, has joined the Prosecutor's Office Specialised as Chief of Investigations/ The Investigative Group.
This was made known by a press release from the Special Prosecution Office.
Yething, age 54, is a French and American national prosecutor with extensive experience in areas of national and international prosecution, including jobs at the International Criminal Court ( GPN) and the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (TPNJ) and a prominent academic career.
He comes to the ZPS from Harvard Law School where he was a professor of practice since 2013.
During the period between 2010 and 2013, Yehing worked at the SPN Prosecutor's Office first in the post of Co-ordinator of Investigations, in surveillance of all investigations, and then as the Prosecution Coordinator, having all prosecutions monitored.
Before joining the GPN,hiing taught as an assistant professor of practice at Harvard Law School.
During the period between 2002 and 2007, Yehing worked for TPNJ, where it has been chief prosecutor in the trial of Fatmir Limaj, Isak Musliu and Haradin Balaj and chief prosecutor in the trials of Milan Martic and Dragomir Milosevqi.
Before the TPNJ joins,hiting was federal prosecutor in the United States, originally in the Civil Rights Department Criministics Sector in Washington DC and then with the Federal Prosecutor's Office in Boston, Massachusetts, where it focused on cases of organised crime and corruption.
hiing graduated from Yale College and the Yale Law School.
