Partial employment in Telekom ʹ prosecution does not start investigations?

Those actions prompted reactions from Kosovo opinion. While leaders of opposition parties and non-governmental organisations called on the prosecution to launch investigations immediately for legal violations.

The group for Political and Jurydical Studies called on prosecutors to investigate all cases of employing members of the institution's carriers. According to them, each employment case reveals elements of various criminal acts sanctioned with the RKS Criminal Code.

Economic Development Minister Valdrin Luka, speaking of party employment in Telekom, has stated that this is the responsibility of the board after allowing various interventions to take place.

Meanwhile, party employment forced several members of the Telekom Board to resign.

Kosovo Telekom chief Bedri Istrefi had said there is no overwork in this company, though this number exceeded 2,500 employees.

Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj AAK's party was charged with making mostly legal violations by employing officials, members and family members in the institution.

While Parliament Speaker Kadri Veseli had said these cases should be stopped, starting with his party.
