The recommendations report was addressed days ago to the Kosovo Police, the Ministry of Labour and Social Management (MPMS) and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MASHT), writes today “Koha Ditore”.
According to the report, state institutions must take the necessary actions to prevent, protect and help any child who is on the streets for various causes or is in danger, and seek to take measures against offenders.
The report points out that part of the children on the street are seen alone or in groups cleaning car windows, selling fine items, seeking charity or containers. The involvement in these activities, according to the ombudsman, damages children's development and well - being, endangers exposure to violence, sexual abuse, explosives, and trafficking.
