Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has launched his presidential plane for sale and vowed that profits would go to finance efforts to curb illegal migration.
The move comes after Mexico and the US reached an agreement to avoid American tariffs for Mexican goods only if Obrador's country does more to stop the migration of people from Central America to the US.
The head of the Mexican state said the projected value of Boeing 787 Dreamliner is $150m.
During the presidential campaign in 2018, Lopez Obrador, who is known in Mexico with his initials Amlo, promised to sell the plane, which was originally bought for $218m.
He told supporters he would use commercial planes at favourable prices.
Mexico also wants to sell 60 government-owned planes and 70 helicopters.
