I want Lipa alongside the people of Sudan (Photo)

Since last week, Sudan's people have staged protests against President Omar al-Bashir, writes news.net.

Many public faces have emerged in support of Sudan's people, including singer I want Lipa.

“Potted for Sudan. I'm with all the women, men and children protesting a peaceful transition to democracy. The government has responded violently to calls for democracy, murder and rape. Internet cuts are violating citizens' rights for freedom of expression and vital information and putting them at even greater risk. This is a violation of human rights and we have to speak up together. Please raise your voice to stay with the people of Sudan. I'll put links on my story about how you can help”, she wrote.

I'm losing a tribe for Sudan. Standing up for all women, men and children fighting for a peaceful transition to democratity. Government forces and militias are meeting call for democratity with brutal plague and heat. An Internet blackout is violinizing things right to freedom of experience and vital information and put them in even more danger. This is a violence of human rights and we need to come together to pretend out. Please add your voice to stand up for the people of Sudan. I will post links on my story for how else you can help? ?
