John Erath: Tax lifts and dialogue resumes

European Affairs Director-General John Erath said he expects the United States to play a larger role in the dialogue process between Belgrade and Pristina, but that they cannot do so until taxes on Serbian products are in force.

As he said, the American advice for Pristina is to lift taxes so the dialogue can resume.

“I hope the way is found. It is important to remember that, although taxes are an immediate disorder, they were introduced for a reason in response to a campaign against recognition of Kosovo that Serbia has launched in international organisations”, Erath told America's “Zer”./Periscopi/
