It was reported that the Chinese technology firm aimed at discovering a new laptop earlier this week.
However, the official Richard Yu told CNBC it was “it had no chance to supply PC”.
He said he might need the product to leave himself.
“Depends as long as Entity List” he wrote.
This refers to a list of foreign parties the American Trade Department has deemed to be possible national or foreign policy threats.
In particular, Huawei is accused of committing bank fraud to avoid Iran's sanctions and preventing justice, among other violations.
