Hoxhaj has seen the strange fact that 20 years after the adoption of Resolution 1244, which brought peace to Kosovo, Secretary General's Special Representative Tanin would misuse the Security Council in this way by spreading false news.
Hoxhaj stated through Twitter that the truth is that an official of UNMIK has directly intervened, preventing police action against organised crime and corruption in the country's north.
UN special envoy to Kosovo Zahir Tanin has criticised Kosovo institutions for declaring Russian UNMIK official undesirable. Tanin even says that the Russian official, who was arrested after preventing the Kosovo Police from carrying out the operation against contradiction, has been attacked and mistreated by Kosovo institutions.
