European Integration Minister Gift Hoxha today participated in the Berlin International Rally, where many German state representatives from parliaments, governments, administrations, economy and society, as well as state representatives, ambassadors from more than 50 countries in the world.
Such gatherings provide good opportunities for networking and discussing issues that contribute to peace and bilateral co-operation among states.
At this gathering, Hoxha had the chance to meet many of these participants, where she briefed the latest developments in Kosovo, our vision towards integration into the European Union (BE), and raised the visa liberalisation issue for Kosovo citizens, calling for Kosovo's support in this regard. During these talks, Minister Hoxha stressed that the European Parliament supported the European Commission's proposal for visa liberalisation, and that this issue is now in the hands of the Council and member states of the European Union.
Hoxha estimated that this process would affect economic, cultural and educational development especially in expanding opportunities for our youth, as representatives of EU values.
