Haxhiu urges Negotiator Teams to return spent money, otherwise they will give criminal responsibility

The criticism has addressed Pristina chairman Shpend Ahmeti, who he says should resign from this position after betraying the will of the capital's citizens.

The VV MP views the elections as the only alternative to exit the situation in which Kosovo is located.

There was no law here, because the law was being disputed. The government has violated the separation of those tools, but now we are unaware of how much of that figure they spent. For this, it would have to be immediately, from now on, and to make transparent what they have spent, whether as a team on these visits, hotels, media, etc., even party militias that these people have allegedly engaged as experts. It means, these must either give criminal responsibility for any expense or for any cent they've spent, or they should return cents per cent to the Republic of Kosovo budget, all the money they have illegally and arbitraryly spent”, she says.

It also explains what it says is the Constitutional Court's decision.

The Constitutional Court has shown us that the president does not have the mandate to lead foreign policy and represent Kosovo in dialogue with Serbia. So during all this time, President Thaci has been in constitutional and second violation, the negotiating team is an organ on the Assembly, on the government, and this is a flagrant violation of the competencies of the Parliament and Government”, she points out.

Commenting on statements by the negotiator team's co-chairman, Shpend Ahmeti, who after the Constitutional Court's decision has declared he will resign from this post, Haxhiu says his position in this case is in existence. She even adds that Ahmeti should resign from Pristina's top position, having betrayed the citizens' trust.

The resignation can occur when you already have a certain position, but not when that position is in existence, as has been the role of the co-chairer. So there's no need to resign from this team is non-existence... Resignment would need Shpend Ahmeti to be given by Pristina chairman, because he has betrayed the will of Pristina citizens. But he didn't do it, because I know he won't win anymore, I believe he won't even run. The resignation has been a ridiculous statement that screeches are drawn to”, Haxhiu says.

Under these circumstances, Haxhi reiterates that the only solution is the extraordinary choice.

We are about to submit the motion. Here the LDK has a different opinion that should not proceed with signatures without having 61 signatures. I think it's wasted time if we'll wait for a list of 61 signatures. Looks like it's pretty hard to reach. We better proceed to the Parliament with 58 signatures as much as we have, and then we see how MPs” will vote, she declares.

Otherwise, the Constitutional Court's announcement reportedly that the state delegation, which is founded on the controversial law, is not meant for the Constitutions and is not pre-represented within the form of governance and power sharing.
