Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has said that Kosovo has not achieved where its goals were, even after 20 years of liberation.
The one in KTV's interactive “ ” has said the state vision was not to return to Serbia but to integrate into the European Union.
We in our vision have not had all the aspects and challenges waiting for our country, but I think the targets haven't changed. We have not had the goal of returning to Serbia but EU integration into NATO and UN membership. But we are not where we are headed”, Haradinaj said.
Speaking of organising the 20th anniversary of Kosovo's liberation, the head of the Kosovo executive has said it is in the tradition of Albanians thanks and gratitude, but according to him, former President Bill Clinton, former U.S. Secretary of State Madeline Albright and American General Wesley Clark deserve to be thanked in a human way, Koha.net broadcasts.
He says the organisation of the 20th anniversary manifestation was good, but it leaves for the desired one.
“Organization allows for wanting, but we can learn lessons. The protocol was in the hands of presidents. The people were amazing, they stayed at that temperature, on foot, it was a sensitive situation, but they did a good job”, he added.
He says there have been invitations to many international friends of Kosovo, but have not responded to the invitation. Also mention the invitation to former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, but says he has not come.
Meanwhile, Haradinaj thanked the US as NATO leaders, but also all other member states for the intervention in Kosovo.
“NATO in its action was together with all countries, and we thank them all for their contribution. We thank America as NATO leader”, he has said.
