Information discovered by the web on line Mediapart confirmed today to the media by a judicial source, not specifying possible violations of the law that are the subject of this new anti-corruption prosecution procedure against the former head of state (2007-2012).
According to Mediapart, during a search conducted at the end of 2017 to an ancient classic Parisian, Christian Deydier, police discovered an envelope named after Nicolas Sarcozy who was sent the previous day.
Zarfi, found during the search conducted on account of investigations into possible Libyan financing of the 2007 presidential campaign, contained a check worth 2,000 euros for the purchase of an antique on behalf of the former president, as well as four 500-euro bills.
I questioned about the issue, Sarkozy explained that at the time, each month, one of his assistants went on behalf of him and attracted about 2,000 euros from the bank to large cuts, including 500 euros/”, media reports.
