Former President of U n EFA and former Golden Ball winner, Michel Platini, has been arrested because it is suspected that through corruption it granted 2022 World organisation rights to Qatar.
French legend had been elected president in 2007 and had remained in that position until 2015 when it was dismissed by FIFA's ethical commission, Periscopi from the Daily Mail.
French medium Mediapart claims Platini was taken as an alleged witness this morning as part of the investigation into the case.
In December 2010, Qatar managed to become a 2022 World Cup host, succeeding last year's Russia 2018 World Cup World Cup.
In 2014 Platini had admitted to having had a secret meeting with official Mohammed Bin Hammam, shortly before giving his vote for Qatar.
Through the changes Platini made in U EFA, increasing the reward for small teams in the first qualifying circles for Europe League and the League Champions, which remain in force, Albanian teams and other small teams of European countries, saw the hairi and marked great successes in the international arena. /Periscope
