Donika Kadai: It's a trick game, but the tax should be connected to visas.

AAK MP Donika Kadaj-Bujupi has said the EU Council of Ministers report is a preliminary report and there are conclusions that have been mentioned, including (not) visa liberalisation for Kosovo. No matter what position we are in today, we must not be hasty, because Kosovo has met the condition [...] in March of last year.
No matter what position we are in today, we must not be hasty, because Kosovo has met the last condition in March of last year. We'll commit liberalisation this year. It's up to us to do our homework so this can happen”, Caday-Bujupi said.
“There is game and fraud, and there's always been after the EU as far as visa liberalisation are concerned, demands have been stepped up. The tax and association are not linked to visas. Seeking rule of law and requiring implementation of an unconstitutional agreement is disrepute”.
There is no exchange [of taxes with visa liberalisation] and additional criteria for Kosovo to accept. Visa criteria have been approved. Visas have been delayed, not because of Kosovo, but because of the EU. It's time for Europe to reflect”.
MP Kadaj-Bujupi has indicated in the Kosovo Clan Info Magazine that Kosovo still has much work to do in the rule of law.
But this is not about visas. It is a political game and an attempt by the agendas of some for Kosovo to surrender its sovereignty in dialogue. It's not good to give quick marks because we haven't got the report yet. The doors should not be opened to harmful efforts that are not technical at all, but political play to minimize”.
