Serbia's Foreign Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic has responded to the American Embassy in Belgrade, explaining why in the $100 bill, Kosovo had written “is Serbia”.
He had joined calls from the internet in the $100 bill with Benjamin Franklin's figure to write “Kosovo is Serbia”.
The action idea began to spread widely, considering that the coins are passed from “handover”.
After publishing the photo of Dachyqi had reacted to the American Embassy, which has invited her to take more care of Franklin's words.
“Instead of destroying bills with the figure of a prominent American person like Benjamin Franklin, Minister Dachic would probably think better of his statement: Stay at war with your parents and peacefully with your neighbours”, says the Embassy's response to “Radio Free Europe”.
But Dacic responded to the Embassy saying about “Sputnik” That: “I didn't destroy the bill of $100, nor did I offend Benjamin Franklin's image, only acted in accordance with the idea of that great American teacher and citizen”.
Serbia will always fight against any false narcotics and will always promote peace with our neighbours. Serbia will never treat its land as neighbours the same as America would never. Just like Benjamin Franklin wouldn't. What I have done is respect for the universal principles of the recognition of states, both the US and Serbia”, Daciq stressed.
He also recalled a message from Benjamin Franklin that says: “He who has patience can have anything he wants”.
