Commission for Victims of Sex Violence drags the process, victims in dual anxiety

Kosovo institutions are working very slowly to verify them, much less to punish the perpetrators of the work. At least that's what organizations that deal with these cases say.

The director of the Kosovar Centre for the rehabilitation of Torture Survivors, Feride Rushiti for KosovaPress, says the process of legal recognition of this category is going too slowly, for which, according to her, victims are experiencing double anxiety and tension.

“Practically some concerns have emerged, and some challenges that are delaying the process and decision-making, since we have to do with 20-year-old wounds, normally it's not easy, but I think these challenges in the process need to be dealt more seriously with for the fact that there are victims waiting a year for this process, keeping them in tension, holding them anxious, making it difficult for him, but also decomposing others for appliance.
