“Bandsteel” extends to a perimeter of 405 hectares. The camp has adapted for 7 thousand personnel while there is also a CIA prison, the paper quoted.
Because of its geographic position, the camp is a very convenient basis for spying activities for Eastern Mediterranean and the Black Sea arena. Also monitored from there are gas and oil routes to Middle Lindy, Asia and eastern Russia and the EU, the paper writes.
