Speaking at a National Army Museum event, Lancaster said he remembers the sweet welcome Kosovo has received 20 years ago.
I remember well how Kosovars received me 20 years ago when I went there. This society is not forgotten by any country, so we will continue our commitment to stability in the region”, he said.
We remember that KFOR in Kosovo consists of troops coming from about 30 countries, including the US, Italy, Turkey and Poland.
Meanwhile, Britain's troops have helped improve the capabilities of intelligence, observation, as well as the force of this mission.
Mission NATO is one of the longest peacekeeping missions in history in Kosovo, and this year marked the 20th anniversary of the intervention in the country.
