Apostolova welcomes Wessel's decision: Downloading All Prescriptionists

The chief of the European Union office in Kosovo, Natalia Apostolova, has said she expects all those officials who have the indictment to leave Kosovo institutions, and not only the ministers, but also the directors of agencies and other high positions, to be here. Saying he welcomed the PDK's decision to step down [...]
Saying he has welcomed the PDK's decision to remove from top positions the people of this party, who are on charges, Apostolova at KTV's interactive, has said they want “in Kosovo to see people in high positions at the level of responsibility for their” positions.
However, besides the PDK, she has added that she expects others to take the same action.
But, here, I mean this is just the beginning, it's the tip of the iceberg, because we've seen only a few people leave. But, as we know, we and you, there are many others and I hope that the leadership of the PDK will apply fragmented approaches, but that it will really drive away all people who have won positions, not on merit bases and who have been appointed with nepotism. I also hope that other political parties will act after this extremely positive step”, she has said.
When asked whether it calls on Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj and others in the coalition to review their people, it has replied that “this is exactly the statement we want to give”.
I just want to add that we're not just looking at the ministerial level. We're looking at all high positions that carry very high responsibilities. Officials, for example. You know, I've raised my voice to a person, an appointment, which happened a while ago”, she added by talking about the head of the Property Agency.
As far as appointing as war crimes indictees officials, Apostolova has said in their call that no convicts or indictees are involved.
Apostolova added that these issues were raised long ago as he added that the international voice was finally heard. He added that this is probably happening because parties, in times of domestic elections, are trying to show new faces.
She has added that they cannot oppose the property process if Kosovo institutions are put in place for that. According to her, she should be very careful here.
Ironic has called the appointment of the head of the Legal Office of the Ministry of Innovation Lulzim Kadriu, who had previously been convicted of corruption.
I think all these positions, which now, through the new reform of public administration, should go into certain selection procedures, all should be carefully watched. You know maybe it's a British project that supports this selection procedure and we want this process to be as transparent as possible, because it's also solved by good people, what it takes to restore the population to trust on governance in Kosovo. We now see a lack of credibility and this is no coincidence. Therefore, I would say that it would be good for all these positions, not just ministers or deputy ministers, to review all top positions”, she added.
