The Bank of Albania's data shows that, compared to a month ago, 4.5 billion dollars more have been attracted by citizens, but also by businesses.
Meanwhile, if we make a comparison since the beginning of this year by second-level banks, about 9 billion more sensitive trend money has been attracted in recent months. Euro deposits continue to bear the main weight of Albanian savings despite the initiative for de-euroisation.
The reduction in deposits is thought to continue to produce negative effects on low interest rates for both national and currency. Despite this situation, however, the loan has undergone an increase of about 4 md.
The Bank of Albania has appealed to banks to increase the debt of the economy, but the situation still remains dim.
Meanwhile, official data shows there has been a deterioration of payment capacity in the first four months of this year. Thus the level of ailing loans has reached 11,46 % of the total.
If we translate it into money in the first four months of this year, loans that are delayed over 3 months have increased by 30m euros. This situation shows the difficulties the Albanian economy is facing.
