Two months after the fire that April 15th destroyed Notre Dame will be held for the first time in the Parisian cathedral.
The liturgy will be for only a few who will be equipped with protection tools, as the structure is still dangerous. Work continues very slowly, even because despite first - day statements of the 850 million euros promised, only 9 percent of the sum - 80 million euros - have been poured out.
And a few of this money comes from big entrepreneurs who were among the first to promise financial assistance the first days after the fire.
From François Pino, many donors had promised funds for reconstruction. But at the moment, the only ones who have moved forward are the privates.
But great entrepreneurs' spokespersons have reacted almost to the choir, saying the money will only be given after determining the societies that will handle the cathedral reconstruction. A statement that has not stopped criticism at all that their promises were just a marketing strategy.
According to “France Info”, donors expect only the real start of work to ensure that their money will not go to the state. French President Makron has promised that within five years his reconstruction will be complete but that the work continues slowly.
