Thaci: Union for Condemnation of Serbian genocide in Kosovo

Thaci made these comments at the memorial academy for Enver Topalli, where he announced that as president of the country, he has made the decision to honor Kosovo's hero on the 20th anniversary of his fall.

He said Enver Topalli was powerful at the time for the need to unify the political forces of all groups or movements, and for that reason he stands in the outside world to return to Kosovo to strengthen the organisation of such home groups.

According to him, unfortunately on May 19, 1999, Enver Topalli is killed in the Dubrava prison.

“Today, remembering Enver Topalli, we remember all prisoners who were killed, injured, and mistreated at the Dubrava prison. The crime committed in Dubrava entered the line of the worst acts the state of Serbia committed in Kosovo during 1999, but even earlier.
