State police: The action in the north deals with the killing of Ivanovic and Zymerw

Police away say the action is continuing, confirming the injuries of a police officer.

Through this official letter, we want to announce the broad opinion and media that the police operation, which is taking place today in the Mitrovica North and Mitrovica South region, has nothing to do with the case of Herover Zymer and former politician Mr. Oliver Ivanovic, as stated in some Serbian and local media.

As we have outlined in the under-remarked communiqué, this police operation has preceded a several-month investigation of IPK and KP led by the Kosovo Special Prosecution, which has resulted in the suspicion of involvement of some police officials and some citizens in criminal activities participating or organising the criminal group and other specified acts.

This police operation is still under way, as a result of resistance in northern Mitrovica, a police official has been injured but is out of the question for life, while several police officials, some citizens, as well as various items, including several weapons have been arrested.

The competent institutions will continue to keep you informed even through the planned conference.
