Official: De Ross leaves Rome after 18 years

Rome has confirmed that midfielder Daniele De Rossi's career in this club will end at the end of the current season.

De Rossi, who has played at Rome for 18 years, has had 615 presentations and scored 63 goals in all competitions for this team.

He joined the club in 2000 and debuted a year later.

With the club, De Rossi has won Italy's Cup twice and a Supercup.

The 35-year-old has said he will continue his career elsewhere, with Italian media saying his future destination is expected to be America.

De Rossi will have his last appearance for Rome in the face of Parman on the last lap of the season.
